Happy New Year and Happy New Month Everyone
Starting off the year a lot of people do the whole thing of "New Year, New Me", resolutions and whatnot. Contrarily, I chose not to do resolutions this year simply because lets be real half the time it's a start and stop situation and a lot of pressure personally. So I thought what the hell, that's one thing less I'll have to worry about and wouldn't be doing this year. That being said i had abandoned this baby for too long but not without good reason. So here I am ready to share with you guys the amazing things I will find, experience and ponder upon in that happy place called 'Mind'.
Lately, I have been spending ample amount of time on YouTube watching my favourite bloggers and everything and anything from natural hair videos to vegan food recipes, tags, vlogs, ramblings and story time of their pastime experiences, to such a degree that sometimes I'm up till late hours of the morning simply because I am so engrossed in the lives of other people. LOL!

Thumbing through some tags and other blogs I found one called "Random facts about me" and thought why not!. A little bit of getting to know me never hurt nobody. So i put my spin on it calling it 21 Questions
Questions
#2. Have you ever peed in the woods?
As a child, Yes. Not in the woods but by the roadside.
#3. What's a nickname only your family calls you?
I wouldn't call it a nickname, it was more of an insult. As the last of child of four but five, I would always report things my siblings had done to my parents or say things without being asked, basically be a "radio without battery".
The other one would be "Tomato Head". In junior secondary i was quite chubby and round with next to no hair a.k.a "Molo" for my Nigerians out there. This only magnified the roundness of my head and served as ammunition for my elder sisters to make me the butt of the joke for any time I was out of line.I still get called it sometimes but thank God for maturity and growth.
#4. What is your song of the week?
Intentional - Travis Greene
#5. Do you like your name?
YASSSSS! Efemena Okpobodisere Orife. Wouldn't change it for anything else. For one there are so many variations to my name, but we mostly go by "Efe" for short, secondly, a lot of really creative and fun people I know go by my name, and my all time favourite Youtuber +The Brownie Diaries, Yes, not entirely the same name but we are all still Efe's together. Efemena means "Here is my Wealth". OkpoBodisere on the other hand just rolls of your tongue, can be shortened to "Bodisere" or "Bodise" and means "A child determined to come to this world"

#12. One thing you do now that you thought you'll never enjoy?
Reading.
As far back as I can remember I was never a fan of reading. Mostly because it involved education to which I was not exactly excited about either. And to add to my struggles it included books that to me were quite boring. But in an African home, you have no choice. I had to read because if you don't read you don't pass. So that put me off entirely because i wasn't doing it for pleasure but because had i to make it in life. Be something!. It wasn't until the summer of 2015 when i went to Lagos, that I read "Americanah" by the amazing Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. My mind was blown I tell you, I couldn't drop it from the moment picked it up, the twist and turns in the storyline, the style of writing, and the characters themselves. It was as though I was experiencing the life of the main character Ifemelu in the book. A must read!. Other reads include Purple Hibiscus and The Daniel Fast, whilst i'm currently reading The thing around your neck.
Sidenote: Feel free to leave suggestions of books you have read and found you love.
